Almost played Joseph one year but fainted in the church during the dress rehearsal so managed to swing doing absolutely nothing. Had I realised it was a shortcut to untold riches I would probably have toughed it out.
My acting career would peak about 4 years later as Jafar in a pantomime so maybe I had been miscast anyway.
