Like not necessarily that they’re bad or anything but you just don’t get the hype or reverence.
Inspired a bit by the Baroness chat in the new releases thread and having Propagandhi on right now, both two bands who get loads of love and are held up as pretty high in their field but I don’t hear anything special.
The ultimate is probably Fugazi. Find them completely ‘fine’ but can’t get myself excited or choose to put them on ever

I think they can share a bit of an edge that can be read as bitterness if you don’t quite connect with them, might be part of why they don’t quite have a wider appeal? Dunno.
