There used to be a fair distance between me and the DiSsers when I lived in Aberdeen.

Well said. Spoken like a true panhandler.

Reckon North Yorkshire’s easily one of the best bits of England, great beer, great cheese, wild garlic, waterfalls, scenery that matches Cumbria.

Not gonna piss about and pretend the landscape is as great as areas of Scotland and Wales

It’s more like a pancake than a panhandle

Are there any DiSers from Rutland?

(Obviously Rutland isn’t an actual place)

Doesn’t exist so no

Rutland feels a bit like England’s San Marino, I went to Stamford once, that’s a weird place.

You’ll be pleased to know i also grew up 10 miles from rutland. No rutland mates tho

Stamford is Lincolnshire isn’t it?

It is a weird place. Feels like a life sized model village

Did you ever do a cycle ride, taking in Rutland, Lincs, Cambs AND Norfolk?

*waits expectantly*

Cambs, lincs, rutland, northants, derbyshire.

And cambs, lincs, norfolk.

So: no.

Yeah just next to Rutland. Just seemed very self-referential but no-one I was with knew what the locals were on about.

It is pretty affluent compared to a lot of south lincs and fairly middle class too. Pretty place though and surprisingly good pubs.

I reckon I’m equidistant between @ttf @ynot and @grievoustim / @rob.orch and the Brighton crew
