Never driven a BMW car but, back when I was a biker, I LOVED my BMW R1100S. Best bike I ever rode: shaft drive which made it much more resilient to UK weather, salted roads etc and, despite being a sports bike, it had plenty of room for taller people like me in a comfortable riding position (compared to the Suzuki Bandit I used to ride - urggghh). Oh and the flat twin engine was so nice: so torquey you could imagine Basil Fawlty opening a hotel there (sorry).

Anyway, yeah, BMW bikes >>>>> all other bikes. No idea about their cars. Don’t really care about cars.

Eh cars are like mobile phones now, you get them out on lease and eventually either buy it or upgrade to a new shiny

BMW manfucatured cars do have amazing build quality though. Something satisfying aboit pushing the buttons in my ma’s mini cooper

Private hire minicab drivers are fucking lethal. Worst by a mile. They’ll be outlawed when I’m president.

All others drivers of privately owned vehicles are scum, too.

Black cabs are OK, though.

yeah absolutely. It’s a bit slow but mostly I just leave it plugged in on charge and use it from my PC

Almost got run over this morning by a lady careering through a red light and green man light as I started to walk across the road. In a massive fuck off BMW tank, she was.

In an unprecendented move though, she apologised as she sped past!

Once I was crossing the road at a zebra crossing. The SECOND the lights switched to amber she accelerated towards me and I had to run the last couple of steps. This was a massive white ranger rover. Something about those types of cars turn people into utter cunts

Range Rover > Audi > BMW > Jaguar (reminded by read iap’s post) > Mercedes

Think there’s an element of snobbery in it, actually. I’ve noticed that middle class people tend to associate BMWs with working class people who’ve done well for themselves, or sales reps.
