Agree that the album is one of the best of the year so far, though I’m not as sold on the 10cc cover and it maybe comes a little unstuck over the last 3-4 tracks. Side 1 is :fire::fire::fire: though

It’s definitely my album of the year to this point, and I’m struggling to think of anything that will top it. It reminds me of that time when Portishead, Tricky and Massive Attack were releasing impeccable albums one after another - it very much has that feel about it. Very strong.

Hmm maybe someone announced it too early or something? She’s playing the Club to Club festival in Italy the weekend before so presumably she’s in Europe that week

Will be seeing her at Kings Place tomorrow, so I’m looking forward to that. I may skip the chance of seeing her a second time as the heat this week might kill me, even if it is free, but will see how tomorrow’s gig goes!
