this seems a bit irrelevant and innapropriate

in-deed

It 100% is. You’re tilting your head down way too much and it’s going to cause neck pain. That’s why at work, you have to have your screen at eye level. The screens in the arm rests in the aisle seats are far far lower than eye level, no matter how many times you say it, you’re still wrong.

Do you hold a book at eye level to read it?

I’m not sure what that has to do with this argument at all? Deflecting it to an entirely different activity is not going to distract from the fact that you’re making something up.

If you must know, I usually don’t sit bold upright (or ever so slightly reclined) in a narrow, uncomfortable chair for 12 hours reading a book.

Because watching a film for a couple of hours, or a couple of films, where you tilt your head down slightly is no different to when people settle down to read a book for a couple of hours.

Even if I had a 12 hours flight, I wouldn’t stay seated the whole time - it’s even more unhealthy than slightly bending your neck.

But I’m reading a book on my lap out of CHOICE. I CHOSE to rest it on my lap and look down. On a plane, I’ve paid £25-£50 for extra leg room but I’m having to look down at the TV screen as that is what is provided for me.

Apologies, I mean 11 hours with regular 5 minute leg stretches spread out over the course of 12 hours.

Why are you paying an extra £50 for a seat you don’t want?

i dont know what anyones arguing about any more but im sure i will agree with meo

Is this thread full of anti short people hate speak?

I bet it is.

Disgust me sometimes DIS.

Meowington pays money for more legroom, but doesn’t like the viewing angle of the seat to the point that she wishes she didn’t pay money for more legroom.

Or something.
