No it’s a fair point. I do think in a big Tesco it should be reasonably achievable, even if not perfectly. I just found people were continually getting in my space, usually when I was hanging back waiting for people ahead of me.

Appreciate it must be a nightmare trying to manage it all.

Also people should just chill the fuck out if someone walks straight past them 1.5m away. Fair enough if I’m standing next to you for ten seconds while we both agonise over which third-choice cheese we want, but just walking past, grow up and stop talking in my direction with your germs.

Yeah, it’s tough. If the public can’t get their heads around distancing in the open, in shops is even harder. And for every 9 person trying to observe it as best as they can inside, it takes one to ruin it.

Ive been thinking a lot when 2+ coppers are chasing bad dudes, do they use a technique where one sprints and one runs at a more measured speed?

So the bad dude knackers themselves getting away from the sprinting one but the other can then catch them?
