Was planning on a financial/carbon-footprint double-header but couldn’t pull the trigger on it.

Got a link to this? It’s nice. And there are like a million jackets on asos to get through to try and find it : (

It’s so cosy, I bloody love it!

x1 dark grey wool overcoat for smart
x1 thick padded cordura jacket for real warm
x1 thin coat which goes well over a hoody if required

I have a dark green corduroy coat from Next that I got about eight years ago. It’s getting a bit frayed around the edges now, but it’s lasted me well.

I also have a technical/ski jacket for hiking and really cold/wet weather.

And a pacamac that pops into my work bag.

That’s about it.

It’s the Dickies torrence coach jacket, think its sold out on asos but is in loads of other places

1x waxed, navy, heavily-lined parka
1x khaki jacket (almost utility style, but minimal. not a winter 2 coat.)
1x black pleather jacket
1 x wool overcoat (was £10 in the sales, have not worn yet, v. fancy.)

have a waterproof that i wear in the summer.
also have two heavier, open cardigans that i can easily wear as a jacket if it’s not freezing.
and i’m still holding on to two macs that i’m now too fat for (one stone, one black).

Big winter coat is a proper Puffa parka, full of feathers and a massive snorkel hood. That gets roasting on mild days or if I am doing a lot of walking, I’m leaving that as a treat if I have a couple of particularly chilly trips out. Otherwise a normal waterproof-ish light jacket and that is it. Next to get is a proper waterproof, looking to drop around £100 on it. Breathable, suitable for walking trips. Suggestions welcome. Other than “you need to drop at least £250 for a decent one mate”.

The problem I have is I can leave the house frozen to the core, then as soon as I do some walking or the sun comes out properly I end up boiling. And I hate lugging a coat around with me.
