Not seen it in ages but I’m pretty sure it’s a good film
I have a soft spot for that. The combat scenes are terrific.
I think I might be mixing some of it up with Signs. There are lots of isolated houses on corn farm films with basement scenes aren’t there.

how did you find the geographical verisimilitude?
Nah it’s fine if people love it. I know stacks of people who do.
But I don’t think it’s that great. That said, maybe if you watch it when you’re coming up on middle age it’s actually great so who knows?
The first half an hour or so of everything going to shit is pretty good tbf

I liked it, when I last saw it.
I first watched it at 7 in the morning the night after I’d got too drunk at the Ukrainian club and missed the flight I was meant to be getting.

I think it is one of the best comedy films. I love it. I did watch it first as a teenager. I am also impressed with swearing and drinking.

I’ll watch it again in a decade or so, to test your theory.
I do not know what this means. (It’s been 20 years since I saw it, I reckon, at least.)
The problem is the people who love it quote it endlessly…

It’s a very good film. 8.5/10.
But then why would you rewatch anything? 
(Genuinely I don’t have time to do more than minimal rewatching/re-reading of things I loved. I used to do this a lot but these days, with the kid and everything? Fack it, move forward.)
