Played some shows in Cardiff last year I think and spotted him around town. Really love 2013 and he’s a treat live.

Anybody heard about Meilyr Jones recently? Saw Race Horses at Green Man back when they were still Radio Luxembourg and always felt like he makes the kind of music I’d absolutely love to have made, plus he always seemed like a very good egg.

2013 was a fantastic album and his live shows were superb. Odd how he’s completely disappeared.

I didn’t but apparently it was an 11 song set of new material. At one point he said he was going to play a song ‘like the studio version’ which suggests the new material is in the can.

when I saw him play at the Star and Garter in Manchester back in 2018 it was also a full set of new material - pre disappearance. Super glad he’s back!

Weird how he did that one solitary date in early March and now nothing again!?
