I went Polar / Solar too. Annoyed that I missed getting it in three but if I’d gone Molar, I’d have done it in five.

yeah, it gets quite frustrating being one letter away but having a range of options for that letter. Scrolling up, it looks like quite a fewbof us went with Polar first.
I got lucky and guessed in three. My first guess was SPOIL and then STARE. I had all the correct letters for the third guess. Won’t happen again to me.

It was definitely a case of shoving some letters in and seeing if it was a real word - not a word in my usual vocab! Think I was riffing on dowager, even though I doubt they’re connected at alll

Yeah that’s what I figured. It’s a collection of Arab tents or something like that, apparently. And you’re right that ‘dower’ is connected to dowager and dowery from what I can see.
