Went to a webinar yesterday about marketing and lead generation that was arranged specifically for a group of solo/freelance/self-employed/small business people. Specifically for that audience.
The business clown coach giving the webinar kicked off with “can we all share in the chat what our definition of ‘a business’ is please?”
Then shared what their definition was, which is:
A commercial and profitable enterprise that works without you
Mate. Mate. mate.
Got caught in one of these once - loads of people hitting reply all and saying “please can I be removed from this chain”.
Eventually a director who covered, I dunno, 30% of the council pipes up, with a very sensible “this was clearly a mistake, please can you just all stop replying to it”.
Perhaps predictably, the next person to reply all quoted him directly below their addition, and added “please can I be removed from this chain” 
We’ve had new pigeon holes at work. Previously they were open but the new ones have a lockable door on them. Bit of a faff having to get your keys out when you want to get to your tea bags.
Whenever I move a personal calendar item in Outlook, the reminder resets to None. Keep the reminder! While I think this typically happens when the original reminder & start time has already passed, if I move it to a later date it stands to reason I need a new reminder.
someone in our team who seems to always be online during their days off. Just had them accept a meeting invite even though they’re off - and it’s just an update for a meeting in May, nothing urgent!
