this is the problem in a lot of tournaments

was the same in the big ears with the quality of that Bayern PSG semi vs Arsenalā€™s run

but at least the big ears is every year

best thing for the tournament would be if France somehow go out, cos them in a final vs anyone would seem a foregone conclusion

Think Iā€™d like Englandā€™s chances more against France than Spain. Would be clear second favourites against either but with France reckon it would be a fairly even game where we see whose very good attacking players can do more good things, itā€™s a bit chaotic and weā€™ve got a puncherā€™s chance. Spain just suffocate us in midfield and slowly break us down

one of those might involve England going ahead or pulling level after conceding and feeling some hope (like in all the games where Southgate teams exited tournaments) the other will not involve any joy, only anxiety and failure
