My ancestors are Germanic, and were blacksmiths who came to England as refugees after the battle of 1066. IN FACT I believe they arrived in 1069 - nice

Booked a holiday to Germany just last night. Don’t care if they win or not though
I have been to the Netherlands, but have never been to Sweden or any of the others
Didn’t know they could go that far back. Don’t think I know anything about my family beyond my great-grandparents being born in the 1890s.

My cousin is one of the most boring people in the world and researched our family tree as far back as that. Took him years and a lot of money to be fair!
