Reckon we might be able to keep up the football threads as a kinder environment this season (until a Manchester club concede their first goal of the season, obviously)

Nice to be part of such a friendly relationship between two local clubs in west London isn’t it

Just a couple of top blokes having a lovely time on the Internet and rising above petty squabbling. Absolutely lovely to see, really.

Hoping my minted atd’s season ticket holding fam decide they’re rugby fans next season. Might try and plan a trip home with the Fulham Chelsea match.

Let me know the weekend and I may come down to London. Doubt I’ll be able to get a ticket but pre/post game pints

if I do go, I might be able to score you a ticket actually. they have 3 tickets, and they only ever go to matches together (which is rare).

fingers crossed. me sitting silently in the johnny haynes stand whilst azpi bangs 5 in for us

I did miss the game and it looks like a cracker.

Always do this. Can’t consistently hold interest in one sport for more than 4 weeks

Had to do the keep ya nut down routine at bramall Lane when we beat them 5-4 this season. Apparently me pretending to be unhappy in my mates ear everytime sess banged one in was even more annoying than if I’d celebrated

exactly the same thing here. I kept asking my friend if I was embarrassing him or what he’d do if I suddenly jumped up and started chanting, and this was during the 3-1 schurle thriller a few years ago. he told me he’d never been as nervous during a match because ‘i’m the sort of person who’d be capable of doing that’.

he got quite pissed off when I gave the finger to the fulham badger mascot at half time, and he’s the most chilled out person I know.

So it took about three hours after the World Cup finished for the negative hundred plus word posts to kick up again.

Great World Cup, great threads, great fun. Night.

Lot of me turning round to other sheff United fans saying ‘we’re giving it our best and thats all we can ask, but we’re playing against a really top quality side here’ etc.

Don’t know if any of you covered this, but the VAR penalty call is pretty dubious and should not have been given
