I’m guessing here that Choco Leibniz first seriously appeared in the UK in the 70s, so that would reinforce my view that they’re just weird foreign biscuits. Since the UK have always been OK for chocolate biscuits I’ve never seen the point.

You have me taped :see_no_evil::see_no_evil::see_no_evil:

Was not aware of them until this century

Quite possibly, although they opened a British business in 1972.

They’ll always be “the weird biscuits in the French supermarket” to me.

Catching up on this thread now and I have 2 observations -

  1. Leibniz was the philosopher dude who (alongside Newton) invented calculus. The fuck are you lot doing eating him? Never heard of Leibniz in a biscuit context, is this another specialty Scottish thing or what?

  2. if we’re counting clearly not biscuits as biscuits then why did these bad boys not make it through qualification? They’re clearly the best

Leibniz also believed that the sum of an infinite number of zeros would equal to one half using the analogy of the creation of the world from nothing

Should have stuck to making chocolate biscuits.
