Paratha

  • Unrolled croissants
  • Closer actually to a mop, you know one that has that leaver to squeeze it together
  • And then the oil drips out
  • Drrrooool
  • I really want a paratha now

I’m fuming at this! Croissants take two days to make, parathas take, what an hour? There is literally a slab of butter flattened and layered inside croissants. You could eat paratha for breakfast, lunch and tea. If you tried that with croissants your heart would strangle you after two months. You try frying unrolled croissant dough and see how far that gets you! Unrolled croissants? Fuming I tells ya

Dont mind voting tortilla etc out as they’re still available via the flatbread category

Sure, it takes longer because croissants are leavened, but the process for adding oil is very similar to the lamination stages of making croissants:

Weird recipe. I rest the dough after making but never in the fridge between layers. And roll them up tightly to get the layers rather than folds like croissants.

Get your point that it is a similar lamination process though.

My fake id was laminated, doesn’t mean it’s a croissant
