Was 1994 the last one England failed to qualify for? Gotta be that - all international competitions are better to watch without the jingoism of the English/British media.

Resisting the urge to post a string of YouTube of videos of Irish World Cup highlights.

Gotta be the 2014 ConIFA World Cup for me, Clive

Those official FIFA World Cup documentaries of each tournament on 32mm film are so good. I love them.

Anyone of sound mind will tell you that Pique was the GOAT. I might be misremembering this (I was only 7 at the time) but didn’t the team captains walk out of the tunnel hand-in-hand with Pique? There they are, greatest day of their careers, strolling out attached to a problematic bouncing pepper.

Obviously just voted for the year I was born. Man it feels good to contribute

Hah hah,

You know I was considering doing this but it wasn’t really my field. However, I worked out there have been 29 of them (because I’m not a gross sexist) and so was going to make the 32 by adding in the next three.

Al Owairan…and ran and ran and ran.

Al owairan, I ran all night and day
