Uzkbekistan is a clear standout in this group. Tough to choose between Malta and Nigeria for second.

Bulgaria’s looks like it could be a British coat of arms or something.

Looks weirdly like the eagle should have two heads, odd placement of that escutcheon, bad use of white space between around the motif at the top-centre (too close to the eagle’s head, should have been smaller and better spaced imho)

Also, yk, actively stands for bad things rather than just acknowledging bad things in the past

I’m more than happy to vote for crappy places with good logos (I think the Union Jack was slightly underrated in the flag thread even) but yeah it just doesn’t look great to me - doesn’t really benefit from symmetry or interesting features, Latin gets a big meh from me and just doesn’t seem especially American somehow, even with a giant eagle centre stage.

Big fan of Uzbekistan here.

The framing is superb, nice and symmetrical in terms of the lines, colourful without being garish.

Strong effort.
