dunno but worth remembering that while Cahill qualified as an amateur this year, he had been on the pro tour in the past

Depends what you’re defining as an amateur. Someone who doesn’t play regularly - sure a 40 break is decent. But regular club players (who won’t have any hope of turning pro) will be able to knock in tons on occasion.

Tied it up again at 10-10. Wilson’s great - he’s about the best battler on the circuit but he’s neither boring to watch or a cunt with it. Love it when he’s in this kind of form.

No it’s not. Lots of keen club players make centuries pretty regularly. You’ve got to remember only the absolute cream of the crop become professionals, because the pay is so poor. There are many people just below professional standard (e.g. James Cahill prior to this tournament).
