Also, nil point for Wreck and Reference, too…

That’s brilliantly, hilariously, rubbish. What is that thing he’s holding up? It looks like a massive magnifying glass but it works like a tiny mirror.

A little bit NSFW

Now that I have this in my hand, it’s really rather lovely. It’s immensely cheerful, every bit of the packaging is covered in rainbow paint, inside and out, except for the lyric booklet which is utterly plain in contrast.
Kerning on that ‘OF’ is still suspect, mind.

Really weird.

Um, this album is more than a decade old?

That’s fine. Unexciting but not ‘bad’.

What’s the album?

Jessica Pratt- Quiet Signs

It’s a phenomenal record and I like the aesthetic of the cover. It really bothers me that she’s standing on the bed though. Who does that? What’s it meant to tell us?

Cheers.

Just a bit murky too isn’t it? Maybe looks better in real?

The music is very late 60s/early 70s inspired and I think the cover’s going for that warm, smudgy analogue look. Haven’t seen it printed though!

I like the cover considerably more than I like her voice, I’m sorry to say.

Glad this is already posted because I just decided to listen to the album and DEAR GOD what were they thinking?

This is like one of those t-shirts you unwisely buy on your first Glastonbury.
