I reckon it’s good.
It’s a context thing, really. If it wasn’t an Iron Maiden album, it would be probably seen as bad. But, given Iron Maiden’s aesthetic and their utter commitment to it and in the course of their own series of album covers, this is a pretty damn good Iron Maiden cover. Makes me think that Eddie somehow got onto the set of the cover of Leftfield’s Rhythm And Stealth and caused mayhem.
I had to go and check google images of the Leftfield album when I first saw this, it’s not quite as similar as I thought but they’ve definitely gone for the same aesthetic.
That Maiden cover is piss boring though. As a purely random choice from their catalogue, look at how detailed this is
Also wtf is the title? Hard pass on unreadable fonts
Senjutsu (仙術, English TV: Sage Jutsu, literally meaning: Sage Techniques) are a specialised field of jutsu that involve the use of natural energy .
Something about it’s not sitting right with me… it’s pretty similar to the last (just with a new culture appropriated?), not as intricate as their best, and the album title font’s a bit wank.
It’s not their worst by a long way and Eddie looks suitably cool/silly/insert adjective here, but otherwise what @guntrip said
Eddie seems to have grown some new teeth/tusks since I last saw him!
Only one way to settle this

- Average (coward’s option)
- Bad

yeah, think this is it. I like the painting of Eddie a lot on its own, but there’s something about the way it all sits together with the title and the logo that just doesn’t feel right.
Nah I think this is actually pretty good
HA just kidding it’s terrible
How have I not seen this before! I take back my original post, this one you’ve shared is 1000x worse
That’s exactly what a War on Drugs album cover should look like surely? completely shit
