If it was just the photo I’d be fine but the road sign is something else.

I can imagine exactly my reaction if I had seen this in the wild in a record shop.
Walk past the rack, my spidey-sense going 'oh, black and white photo of some houses and stuff - HELLO!;
Pick up the record, see who it’s by, and then take a second glance at the whole thing and going ‘GOODBYE’

The pattern seems to be ‘nice photo with very little text’ - good artwork, ‘any sort of collage or weirdness’ - bad artwork.
The nice photos are always nice but it feels a bit safe.
Safe is one thing, cramming every single visual idea you’ve ever had onto the same cover is quite another. Every time I look at this I see something else that sucks.
