Speaking of films, I just looked at the IMDB top 250 list, which I used to look at as a teenager when I was obsessed with films.

Depressing to see how it’s barely changed at all since I last saw it. At least half the films in the top 20 shouldn’t be ranked anywhere near that high.

Hackers is pretty horrible. Remember really enjoying it as a kid but tried to watch it again on Netflix recently and couldn’t get through the first hour.

It’s obviously a film that works best for a moody teenager, but the fact that it’s not as good as you remember it being doesnt mean it’s bad.

It’s basically the film equivalent of catcher in the rye
