Grown Ups 2 - appalling bad film, I wanted to leave after about 15 mins, my girlfriend at the time didn’t so I had to sit through the whole movie.

I guess a lot of it will go over your head if you haven’t seen Grown Ups 1…

Yeah, I guess I missed out on the subtle references made back to the first one

I’m struggling to remember tbh. I guess nothing really sticks in my head as being truly terrible. School of Rock was a bit rubbish so I guess that’s my entry.

Postman, cos Tom Petty’s in it

Sex and the City 2. I was drunk, with 3 women, on a day bender. About tea time they all decided they wanted to watch it. I wasn’t able to object.

Actually it might be Mortal Kombat 2

Seen a lot of shit in the cinema but notably remember sleeping through most of Die Hard 4.

Also in Cardiff Cineworld I went through a phase of just watching absolutely everything that was on, and I don’t remember the title but a super long neo-Bollywood kind of thing was just so awful. I could have left om the intermission (!) of course but I think I just became super determined that I would make it to the bitter, bitter end.

Fassbender Macbeth. Whispery confusing toss, almost fell asleep

Fickin’ love every ludicrous moment of Die Hard 4.

Die Hard 5 though…Ouch. (Not that I saw it at the cinema.)

liking the idea you were so drunk you couldn’t tell if you were watching SATC2 or MK2

Adam Sandler playing twins or lil fockerzzz

Waterworld is entertaining enough. The press just really wanted to piss on Costner’s chips back then.

Postman is diabolical though. Some of the dreck that came out in the years surrounding Waterworld make it seem like the greatest film of all time (Lost in Space, the Saint, Godzilla, the Avengers (Sean Connery version).

Christ late 90s action/sci-fi sucked. I sat through all of it. Can’t believe i thought the original Avengers was going to be good, the trailer made it look fantastic. Fiennes was just coming off Schindler’s and alt-weird-cool bollocks like Strange Days so i guess we had no way of knowing, looking back.

Oh you remind me of Kac Wawa which is a Polish film that we showed when I worked at Cineworld.

From the wikipedia:
Some theaters removed the film from the repertoire. A worker of one of those cinemas explained: “We withdrew Kac Wawa because we couldn’t sell the tickets. People would leave the cinema while the movie was being shown. After that only one or two people would turn up. We figured we couldn’t afford to keep this movie in the repertoire.”[1]

Polish critic Tomasz Raczek wrote in his review:

So I came to see the movie KAC WAWA and I’ve got to admit, I don’t remember the last time I felt so embarrassed at the cinema. This isn’t just a bad movie. This movie is like a disease, like a malignant tumor: it kills the faith in cinema and respect for actors.

Have you ever walked out on a film in the cinema?

Which is staggering, given in one year I saw Catwoman, Troy and Van Helsing, and you’d think there’d be some cumulative effect there.

Ah fuck this was bad.

When Brad Pitt got shot in the foot some smug idiot behind me loudly said to his partner “And that’s Achille’s Heel” and I just wanted to die.

When the soldiers came out of the horse someone behind me, very loudly, said “oh, the sneaky buggers!”

Yes.
