Om the subject, forgot id gone to the cinema for it but pirates of the Caribbean 3 is actually my worst ever. I was a child at the time though. Still left at half time

He’s very wrong here. Haywire is a great film and I think you’d love it.

Quite straightforward spy thriller elevated by Soderbergh’s direction. The backstory and relationships are filled in obliquely if you’re paying attention and he has the genius idea of filming the (satisfyingly crunchy) fight scenes from a largely static PoV with all the protagonists in the same shot at the same time rather than the post-Bourne, fast-cutting horseshit which was the fashion at the time.

Titanic or The Hobbit

Or stubbornness as one of my worst

Don’t think so pal, that’s the gold standard for worst in my eyes. Dreadful.

Christ, soderbergh as well. :weary:

Left the cinema during Meet the Fockers

the new Jarmusch film Dead Don’t Die is up there but I have a hot take that it is v bad on purpose

You seem nice.

ā€˜the new Jarmusch film Dead Don’t Die is up there but I have a hot take that it is v bad on purpose’.

interesting. inclined to agree!

crikey. genuinely sorry if i offended you somehow. i can assure you it wasn’t intentional. not good with confrontation. you genuinely seem like a nice chap. happy to chat further.

Just a bit surprised by anyone on here defending Johnny Depp and what he’s accused of, and taking the ā€˜can’t believe everything you read’ angle, that’s all.

That’s one of the most aggravating films I’ve ever seen. Brain-crushingly stupid.

Only time I’ve ever walked out on a film was Mad Max, so i guess Mad Max

It wasn’t my thing, I’m sorry

fair enough, and wholly understood from your perspective. don’t blame you really. i’d probably have the same view.

unfortunately however, i happen to be in the unenviable position of being somewhat involved in this situation, and hence owing to ongoing legalities, am frustrated in being unable to say anymore.

so, all considered, better bow out of this now. no offence meant. just saddened by the whole thing.

I liked the dead don’t die, was essentially an amusing straight-up stupid comedy

Either The Devil’s Own or Meet Joe Black. Both Brad Pitt films, coincidentally or otherwise…

Hated how Jim Halpert made himself the hero of it

I saw 'Mrs. Brown’s Boys ā€˜D Movie’ in the cinema. Awful way to spend an afternoon
