I like WH Smith’s. Don’t you have an interest in magazines?
Thought I read somewhere that Lush are guilty of real bad employee practices? I’ll see if I can find the link
went into Lush last week to book my little girls birthday party. Was there 20 minutes. Drove home, got in the house and I still smelled of Lush. Was not unpleasant at all actually !
I’m going to offer some defence of WH Smith too. I always used to mock them but it’s the only remotely browsable shop in the whole of Edinburgh’s Gyle Centre (where I spend many an evening swearing about train cancellations).
I’ll see if I can find that anywhere. My bus stop used to be outside the Norwich branch and so I spent many hours thinking about shoe zone.
Sometimes when I was drunk I used to squint at the sign in a certain way and imagine it was called shoe zoo and think about all the shoes in cages and special habitats.
It’s Sports Direct.
See you all in other, unsolved, threads.
You can have a birthday party in Lush? The soap shop?
Warhammer Smith
Sports Direct is a nightmare Orwellian vision, but I would still rate my chances of getting something I wanted at a price I would be willing to pay higher than I would a WHSmith.
You certainly can. Although I guess it might just be aimed at kids. £25 a head and they get to make some products and take stuff home etc…
Literally LOL’d at this in work. It’s like someone generated it from an AI bot that specialises in hand-wringing retweet-porn takes.
Might see if they’ll host 28 year olds
Bung me 25 quid and I’ll add you to the guestlist. Liv won’t mind
Was a bit wary of Superdrug when I was a kid as I thought it was some kind of high-street drug dealer
it is I guess !
It’s like the ITV of high street chemists
i went in Lush once and someone working there complimented me on my shoes and for that reason alone they’re definitely in top 10 shops
One of the best places for kitchen stuff imho.
and cheap but good quality t-shirts. But you have to wade through all the shit to find something decent…
