Rumpus room

Not sure I’d classify them as rooms but conservatories are fucking shit aren’t they?

100%. Always the wrong temperature, too loud in the rain, too hot in the summer, need constant cleaning, and cost all my inheritance thanks dad you wanker.

My dad built one on our house when I was a kid. It was proper shoddy obviously, the roof even blew off in that hurricane (87?). Once got infested with wasps, that was nice.

The cats liked it tho.

Insects too. Always so many insects.

insects/aunties, but agreed

Responsible for the continued existence of wicker furniture too.

Two of my friends had the most amazing conservatories I’ve ever seen. One more than the other. My GOD they were beautiful.

Rooms with just a toilet are serviceable but a bit bleak.

The kitchen because that is where you keep the sausages.

Just moved into a house with a conservatory which has rotted to buggery - looking forward to getting rid of it :+1:

Obligatory wicker in shot…

I live in an attic flat. I really love the beams in the ceiling but it’s colder than expected.

I only got as far as Man Cave and instinctively clicked.

I expect it to be quite cold. Is it colder than that?

You live in the North East so almost definitely not. My theory was always that heat rises so if the poor saps beneath want to turn their heating on it’ll be warm bum time for Auld Ruffers all the way through Christmas.
