Two thirds of the people on this floor do jobs that mean I have no interaction with them. We might say hello or even chat for a few minutes as we get tea or coffee but we’ve never felt the need to tell each other our names.
I can name eleven people on this floor. Five of those are not in my department. I think that’s a decent return.
Could name everyone on my floor I think (40 odd people).
The whole office (200 odd people)? No - and why on earth would I need to.
There are 3000+ people in the office, I might be able to name 1%. 1.5% at a push.

Yes. There is about 50 of us but i interact and assist with them all sooooo i learn by osmosis
All of Finance and Legal, but couldn’t pick half of the HR ghouls out of a police lineup, let alone name them.
