If that man has been on it, I have absolutely no problem with it.

If i’m REALLY thinking back, I think it was done in London and Glasgow at the same time a few years ago.

Amyway, I have the most godawful vertigo, so it’s out for me. But it’s a shame as it seemed like somethign a bit diofferent.

I used to see an advert for this all the time and I had to give feedback on it and some glitch meant I had to do it loads of times it really annoyed me.

Yeah there is absolutely no way I would be able to do it, I’m terrified of heights. Don’t think I could even be paid money to do it. All of my big man posturing in this thread has been projection to cover it up.

It’s arguably of a piece with the rest of the North Greenwich peninsula to be honest. If you put it alongside the crappy cable car and the walk over the O2 roof you’ve basically got the whole Craggy Island Funland experience covered.

I got invited to go and review this. I sent someone else. Here is some info from the press release if that’s of interest:

"This summer London in the Sky is running from 1 May - 15 July at the 02-London

"Events in the Sky is part of the global Dinner in the Sky group. Dinner in the Sky was founded in Belgium in 2006 and since then has expanded into 63 countries, collective holding more than 500 successful events.

"Events in the Sky has been operating in the UK since 2009. Over the past 9 years we have toured the country with our Sky Table, running fantastic events in cities such as London, Bristol, Southampton, Glasgow, Edinburgh and Newcastle.

“This year, London in the Sky will be at the 02 and will have eight flights per day: two Breakfasts (45mins); two morning tea flights (45mins); two lunch flights (1hr); cocktails (45mins); and finally, two evening dinners (1hr). There are two tables of 22 for each flight. There will also be a lounge and bar area which can be branded up where guests can gather before and after each flight.”

Can’t quite put my finger on what it is about bottomless prosecco that I find so bleak. Bread and circuses maybe.
