That you’re even asking is EXACTLY why there are issues with food waste. It doesn’t look bruised, just a little brown. You need to a) be more open to food at different stages of ripeness, and also b) buy less fruit more frequently

Bananas that ripe emit a gas when I’m eating them that makes me gag.
Also ion your banana there seems to be a mould growth on the tip of the stalk.
