Ive just learned what a bay window is… Thpight it was just a massive window.

the physics as to “why” stuff is transparent is mind-boggling.

Bae window

a window could be behind you right now and you wouldn’t know if there’s no wall around it :hushed:

the glass doors I walked into at Butlins minehead in 1983 aged 8 were definitely invisible.

A pigeon flew into a glass window right next to me once, and what I can tell you is that they must be filthy as it left a very detail print of itself on the glass.

That’ll be feather dust, from powder down. Some birds keep their feathers clean with oil (eg ducks) and others produce a kind of dust (eg pigeons and owls)

A shadow isn’t a thing. It’s just that less light is hitting (and reflecting off) the surface on which the shadow is visible.

nah

I’m sitting in one RIGHT NOW

It’s a window with a brown body and black mane, tail, ear edges and lower legs.

if windows and chameleons team up we will be in a world of shit, i can promise you that friend
