tbh I’m not sure how much it really matters anymore. it’s such a long show it just gives people the excuse to switch off if they don’t care any more and they seem more into creating “moments” throughout the show rather than one big pay-off at the end (not since Seth Rollins anyway)
yeah it’s been fine. think most of the build over the last couple of months has been pretty good. don’t really have much faith in them being able to consistently book something well for a full 12 months though

I’m only really flagging Supercard of Honor because the main event is Kenny Omega vs Cody Rhodes, which is going to be G R E A T though elsewhere Emma will probably win the women’s tourney and the young bucks take on Christopher Daniels.
NXT card:
NXT Championship – Andrade "Cien" Almas (c) vs. Aleister Black
This should be great, Almas has become an amazing top heel since pairing with Vega, and Mr. Black is just fucking brilliant. Might not be the 5-star classic Almas had with Gargano, but shit, it could be damn close.
Prediction : Mr. Black wins, Almas up to the main roster? Possibly even wins Andre the Giant Battle Royal?
NXT North American Championship (Ladder Match) – Adam Cole vs. Velveteen Dream vs. Killian Dane vs. Lars Sullivan vs. Ricochet vs. EC3:
No Ladder match at Mania this year, so it’s on NXT instead, FOR A BRAND NEW TITLE! This just should be a laugh really with some really talented and varied guys.
Prediction: Richochet is currently looking like the winner, or at least main hero (which makes sense given he might be an actual real life superhero) so expect EC3 to win and taunt him about it.
NXT Women’s Championship – Ember Moon (c) vs. Shayna Baszler
I enjoyed their last bout, which was basically Shayna destroying Ember as she’s a legit shoot fighter and Ember escaping it, just. Feel this time her time has run out though.
Prediction: Shayna Baszler
Johnny Gargano vs. Tommaso Ciampa (Unsanctioned Match)
This should be so, so great, I hope they kick the living shit out of each other. Whoever loses goes up to the main roster (probably) so they… win?
Prediction: Ciampa wins, giving Gargano the last laugh when he waves goodbye but shows up on RAW.
NXT Tag Team Championship and Dusty Rhodes Classic Final – Undisputed Era (c) vs. Authors of Pain vs. Roderick Strong & Pete Dunne
Adam Cole’s doing double duty as Bobby Fish is out for six(!) months. Authors of Pain and Roddy/Dunne were having a great match before Undisputed Era interfered this week, so they will probably just carry on doing that.
Prediction: Mm, tough one this. I’d be fairly certain Authors of Pain are coming up to challenge BRAUUUUUUN for the tag titles. Undisputed Era winning a tournament they were never in would be quite funny heel heat I guess, but do they still want to keep Adam Cole in that division? Strong and Dunne are pretty over but are also an odd-couple team. Any thoughts?
Any other big calls? Who is coming up to main roster etc?
