wild to think Moxley’s not even been gone a year yet and so much has happened in that time

I’m very proud. Good of JS24 to not bother with night one so someone else could win.

Interested to see where they go with Raw tonight. Will they try to set up new stories assuming they can continue to make episodes? Will they try to cut down on the amount of people on the shows like AEW have been? Is Brock Lesnar on a big ol holiday now until he gets the title back in August?

Yeah according to ol’ Davey M the Boneyard match had Trips and Shawn agenting most of it, probably why it veered on some semblances of realism where they could.
The Funhouse has Pritchard fingerprints all over it. Bray too but it’s got a lot of the tropes Bruce does in his podcast/knows is over with the internet fans.

sigh yep.

oh fuck, I just googled this. I had no idea that’s what happened with that.

very grimace emoji

With the doc so fresh in everyone’s mind I can’t help but think that one of them was making a point with this I just have no idea what it could possibly be, or who allowed it. Ridiculous.

Dark Side of the Ring on Brawl for All is up now

Much easier going than the last two

Kinda need a bit of light relief after the last two.

That said, New Jack was funnier and charming than I expected and I did feel mildly sympathetic for him (more than my previous position of having none). It doesn’t defend his behaviour but rather points to a kind of tragic figure who never really got the help he needed for his trauma and instead was thrust into a world where he was encouraged to be violent and was faced with constant racist abuse. Thought it was very telling Heyman didn’t appear in this as he doesn’t come off very well at ALL

Man he’s said so much offside stuff over the years but I love so much of the Jim Cornette approach (and fury he amplifies for money)

Yeah, he might be pretty old fashioned but man you can tell he has such a mind for it

They really dropped the ball on Bart huh.
Should’ve kept his 90s ponytail for sure but why he didn’t come out for that interview with JR and do a classic Russo-style worked shoot. Yak about how they all expected your boys to lay him out but he whipped all their asses and he’s done doing what he’s told etc etc.
Get him to do a worked match with Butterbean where he gets himself dq’d so nobody’s hurt and push him as a frustrated legit heel.
So simple.

His enduring hatred for Vince Russo’s always entertaining.

When Russo got the restraining order against him he started selling signed copies as merch :joy: can’t work a worker

That’s The Revival finally released. A shame as they were wasted on main roster but probably the best for everyone involved. Assume they’ll be on AEW shortly.

Lol so WWE returning to love programming next week :upside_down_face:

Also the blow off to Gargano vs Ciampa was SO BAD FFS

I miss New Japan

If they’re going in every 7 days that doesn’t even leave enough time to self-isolate so they can see their kids right? Dangerous and pretty depressing for the wrestlers and staff.

I guess people will get more spaced out who knows, it’s pretty ridiculous, there’s no real justification for this now they’re past Mania (and even then)
