The Women’s Football Show has been cancelled by the BBC for this season. Apparently they’re doing a whole suite of highlights packages and chatty stuff on YouTube instead. Modern times.
Very frustrating. Should have put it to bed in the first half but the Villa defence was reasonably on it. Lots of crap crosses, weak shots and Aggie being regularly offside didn’t help.
Only making the one substitution was questionable too.
Much improvement required.
Don’t think there’s any likelihood of Chelsea being in a title fight this season. A dog fight for CL qualification is much more likely. Got gazumped for all their main summer targets and settled for back up options who’d not have even been 3rd or 4th choice for us a few years ago. Beever-Jones is a great support player, she absolutely is not a spearhead. Bompastor’s last season imo, then Christ knows what this ownership will do.
