Anyone a fan? Released a great debut album a couple of years ago then went out supporting Fontaines, Sam Fender amongst others. This was probably the best track from the debut:
Deffo some bits of grunge influence on the first record. Got a new one coming out in August then playing a UK tour in October. Really liking their new single
Another great single. First impression was it was missing some aggression from the live performances but the studio version is growing on me for sure. They’ve uploaded a live version here:
I like them quite a bit, I found the first album a bit inconsistent. When it was good it was very good but some of it didn’t quite stand out as much. Hopeful for their new one though!
Judging by what I’ve heard from the new one I’m thinking it will be more consistent front to back than Cub but may not reach the same highs (Teal, Purple, Butterflies etc.) But hoping I’m wrong on the last bit!
They’ve pretty much played every new track live already and all sounds very promising
That’s good to hear. I’m 100% coming in with an open mind. Teal in particular has been one I’ve gone back to a bunch
Full album now out. Really enjoying it, sounds raw/intense - the band said they wanted it to sound more like a live session. The last 3 tracks are brilliant.
Yeah, this is really good. Solid. Liking it!
