Yeah I saw them with the locust, it was pretty great. Lost my glasses at 5th ave the night before so could barely see a thing, spent most of the gig squashed against a big lad’s back right down the front :metal:

This is insane

not really keen on the whole thing of announcing an announcement

That’s a bit much for a band with one song

Absolutely smacks of a band who have run their course

tbf their last album was patchy and karen o had a babby last year so probably cba as much any more

They’ve announced a single headline show this year, deffo more of a parttime thing for them now. I think we’d need to wait a very long time for a new album if it were ever to come.

Yeah. It’s an interesting contrast with Wild Beasts…who are jacking it in despite plenty of potential…whereas YYYs are still plugging on…

interesting choice of words then

Not interesting at all? Band disbands 5 albums in and band who was successful continues on as a legacy band, both outcomes are common as common can be.

I’d love to own it. Definitely can’t afford it though.

Me and my then tv met him in some uber hipster hidden bar in ny, we asked him where we could get drugs. He got pretty fucking arsey with us then calmed down and we talked away for a bit, all sound.
