i too would like to emigrate to an english speaking, largely white country, that has more or less the same culture but with marginally better weather and more interesting geography.

Having carefully considered all the evidence thus presented, I’d still like to fuck off to Provence.

Quit keen on anywhere European tbh. MrS can go as works for MOD and I can work at an international school.

Problems being we have similar elderly only relative issues to @kermitwormit otherwise I’d love to head to Germany…

It looks lovely (never been) and heard good things. I like Ottawa as well. Both are far cheaper than Toronto or Vancouver which seem crazy expensive

I emigrated from the UK to America because I love my wife and would follow her to the ends of the Earth. However neither either us particularly like America in 2020.

We are looking into whether the missus could get Canadian citizenship. Her grandfather is Canadian, but her mum never took up her citizenship (although she might have been bestowed it at birth regardless). From what I read her mum had to be Canadian when she gave birth. Sounds like some lawyer shit.

Anyway then Canada is an option. I quite fancy Vancouver but the wife might want to stay more East Coast.

Nah. One short. :sob::sob:

Longyearbyen in Svalbard.

Yes I’d consider it…I’ve been there and it’s amazing. I come from a small island anyway so I’d quickly get used to the community life I think. Also it had a bloody awesome supermarket.

I emigrated to the UK a couple of times. Was alright, would do again for the right job. Would also consider some Nordic neighbour countries etc. Quite happy staying in the motherland for the time being though.

Have watched a lot of videos of people who have gone to south korea to teach english and really want to do it, ideally somewhere near the sea with lots of nice cafes and places to take photos. Would seriously do it for a year or six months but the logistics now with the virus aren’t so good. Ah well.
