Think how much hassle the whole process of moving house is even when you’re staying in the same town. Can’t be doing with it.

When we moved to the UK my parents apparently couldn’t be arsed to sort through all their stuff and brought literally everything (except their cat, who they thought it would be cruel to quarantine :cry:), so they still have a load of 40 year old rugs and other shit in the loft that they don’t need.

I spent most of my time there either commuting to London or commuting to Cambridge, as is the local tradition, which didn’t help me remember it.

Agreed with @laelfy that Calgary is perfectly pleasant but a bit dull. Better places in Canada IMO.

It is one of the most boring countries I’ve ever visited. It’s big and empty for a reason. Nothing exciting ever happens.

Would not want to live there for a minute.

Even student house moves where the distance to the new house was short enough to move everything in a shopping trolley were too much hassle for me. I wouldn’t even know where to start with moving country.
