Got woken up by the sound of the baby next door crying at about 3 in the morning, then my brain kept me awake by insisting that this recurring Itsu expense is evidence that I’m not organised enough to do my job and is going to get me fired. Thanks for that, brain.

Off work today and mainly going to be spending it in the cinema seeing both the Nick Cave concert film plus also The Slits documentary.

Not sure what to do beforehand as I did all the dull stuff around the flat last night. Might read for a bit or perhaps start a new cross stitch pattern.

Why’s the weather still shit? I thought it was meant to be improving as the week went on and it’s almost the weekend.

Gig last night - the support band were so bad we had to go and sit in the bar. Some of my mates went so far as going to the pub over the road for a drink. Can’t say I blame them.

Off school rainy day with the kids. Eldest has written some lyrics and a tempestuous piano accompaniment that she wants help arranging and fleshing out, so I’m off to get the four track and the guitars out of the cellar.

Think it’s just going to be a beautifully shot concert film tbh so don’t think you’ll be missing out on too much but it’ll somewhat make up for me, having not previously caught him live. Don’t think it’s going to be anything like 20,000 or One More Time…
