You know when trucks reverse

Some of them have a beeping warning sound and some do like a whooshing noise?

Why do they have the whooshing ones? Doesn’t seem as good

I don’t know what you mean by this whooshing noise

Have you ever walked past a building that tells you to go away?

Never heard a whoosh, only the beep.

The whoosh is harder to ignore, something to do with the frequency of the sound. Think in some countries emergency vehicles make a similar noise (citation needed).

I like the subtle soundtrack they’ve chosen for this.

I’d love to know what was written in the spec for the soundtrack.

“A SNES bossfight but BIGGER

“wide vehicle turning left”

That’s exactly what this is, and it’s brilliant.

Lots of emergency vehicles in the UK have white noise bursts in the sirens too. It’s so that people can pinpoint its location quicker - a traditional siren can simulate the doppler effect inadvertently.

I already knew this

It is pretty common knowledge.

Think of the fun you could be having on Supermarket Sweep.
