You’re hosting a 1970s dinner party

A friend of my wife’s family drinks Blue Nun 7 days a week. He buys it in bulk and apparently his garage and loft are chocked full of the stuff.

 wow.
Was it Heston who put it through a soda stream and tricked a load of wine experts into saying it was nicer than Moët or something?

Something light, so no indigestion for the inevitable sex party.

When I was with my Nanna in the park she pointed at some pampas grass and said how much she likes it and I had to try very hard not to laugh
I BET YOU DO NANNA

I better be having some melon to start

Who doesn’t love a good noodle ring?

The classic: prawn cocktail in avocado

I can’t explain why, but you were at the forefront of my mind when I was thinking about 70s dinner parties

remember my grandparents still had a couple of bottles of Babycham in their booze cabinet from the 70s when I was a kid (90s)

looked like they just had more innocent fun in the 70s
