Looking at what I’ve actually bought on vinyl via Discogs it’s the oracle sisters. Added my reissue of the year too as a cheat:

This year feels a lot like 2020 to me. I’ve liked a lot of individual tracks, but I’m still waiting for that one album that screams ‘album of the year’ to me and I’m happy to wait until December for that.

But Mandy, Indiana is the one I’ve gone back to the most, but I guess the fact that I can’t even remember the title of the album without looking it up suggests that I’ve been pretty sluggish with following new albums

Mandy, Indiana or Yves Tumor. Reckon it’ll be the Agriculture album once that is out.

Oh, I also enjoyed that metal album that’s all one song but I can’t remember the band or the name of the album

Really surprised how much this has stayed with me

Bell Witch - The Clandestine Gate?

Pretty great, I’m listening to it right now.

Yeah that’s it! I really liked it.

But I always make a ‘tracks of the year’ playlist for my friends and students, and they always laugh at how long some of the songs are. I think if I put ‘The Clandestine Gate’ on my playlist they’ll think I’m taking the piss.

:slightly_smiling_face: the previous one, Mirror Reaper, is right up there for me too. Love the space they conjure up.
