Lots of fire extinguishers, as mentioned upthread. Most doors there are fire doors and not meant to be open at all, but people just drag any old shit over to hold them open anyway.

The door to my daughter’s room was really squeaky and kept waking her up when I tried to sneak out, so I got some WD40 on it and worked, TOO WELL, now the door swings open unless the double check the latch has worked, but that clicks really loudly, so I’ve taken to just wedging a spare glove under the door instead.

Every door to each floor has to be opened using a pass. Some doors open automatically. Some just unlock and you have to push the door open. I can never remember which doors do which…
