British Sea Power and The Wurzels cover each other!
The Wurzels take on Remember Me is straight ahead good time whereas BSP turn I Am A Cider Drinker into a louche ethereal melancholy thing (quite Galaxie 500ish too).

Here’s a real fun one I haven’t listened to in a while
(FFO Apples In Stereo, Bis, upbeat indie pop, iconic Cartoon Network cartoon The Powerpuff Girls)

This might be the only Record Store Day release I don’t somewhat regret buying…

I have that.

The RSD one I regret not buying is the Twilight Sad/Frightened Rabbit cassette tape split.

“Cassettes? HAHA fuckoff, it’ll be out on vinyl at some stage”…and it NEVER did!

If Moth/Wolf Cub by Burial and Four Tet were a split rather than an a collaboration and a 7" rather than 12", it would be that.

on of the all-timers and one of my most treasured 7s

I’m going to say collaborations and 12" EPs are fine tbh
