According to Last.fm it’s:

Jockstrap - I Love You Jennifer B, closely followed by Jonathan Richman - Jonathan Goes Country

I started the year off with a project where I listened to one of the albums from the 1001 Albums You Must Hear Before You Die book (randomly generated here before I ran out of steam). Best discoveries until I fell off were:

Tricky, Maxinquaye (became obsessed with this)
Neil Young, On The Beach
Dolly Parton, Emmylou Harris, and Linda Ronstadt, Trio
Curtis Mayfield, Superfly
OutKast, Stankonia
Bruce Springsteen, Nebraska

I got depressed when the website kept generating more The Who albums for me so stopped doing it, but looking back at that list there are some gems that I’d never gotten around to listening to before, so maybe I’ll start it up again in January.
