You know, those places you love, but are naff for whatever reason.
Clarence pier in Southsea is mine. Absolutely love the colour scheme, architecture and feel to the place. The stalls and the fact there’s a Wimpy there. Big nostalgia vibes for sure.
The Jersey shore. The people, the amusement piers, the water parks, the food stands packed on top of each other, the onslaught of arcade and game sounds, the enormous 3 Brothers pizza slices, the Kohr Bros orange and vanilla soft serve, the ocean, the rooftop mini golf, the casinos. An absurd, over the top, and thoroughly distasteful place. I miss it so much.
elephant and castle shopping centre was mine until horrible people bulldozed it. wasn’t even that naff, just felt good shopping there/throwing up outside of waiting for a bus after a night out.
Wetherspoons. Naff in terms of quality compared to most pubs but you know exactly what you’re going to get and I get a rush of nostalgia remembering sneaking into them when I was underage and the buzz I got when it worked.
