from the one in winchester yeah? i remember when that place opened!
My packed lunch box is slight longer than 6 inches. Definitely (not) a euphemism. Perfect for putting a 6" Sub into and into my work bag without it getting squashed on the way home.
Anecdotes just got duller.
Hearty Italian 6-inch (wahey!) meatball marinara, toasted with cheese, no salad/sauces.

on a thursday my mates walked past as we had 15 minutes to spare before the bus (the ol’ 69 bus, classic)
we got to the door and were told they weren’t opening till the next day. we started to leave but they went actually, waitasec… gave us lots of free subs
the next day everyone at college was getting excited about how there were free subs for opening day but you had to queue for ages. we were of course very satisfied to have got free subs without queueing the day before
from then on i always used to get the meatball one on Tuesdays when it was on deal, post-spliff
halcyon days indeed

No cheese (no, no cheese thanks)
I choose my toasting options based on time of day and weather. If it’s daytime, no; if I am teaching night classes, yes.
Lettuce, tomato, onion, jalapenos.
Mayo and black pepper.
Bottle of diet Pepsi or Irn Bru.

absolutely vintage PO
Absolutely a thing. There’s a burrito place that I greedily order extra meat at and it’s just too much meat.
I never learn.
