Hades swung it for me

if ancient egypt or polar exploration ain’t on the list i ain’t interested

In truth, why not all of them. I hate when people say they could never be retired - I’d love to have free time to just full on learn things

I picked World War II just cause of historically how much of a weird nexus point it is for a lot of things I’m fascinated in slash scared of

Not a man, quite a way off 40, but if I win the lottery I’m going full tilt into model trains life. Bore the living piss out of everybody I know by refusing to talk about anything other than my perfect miniature replica of Furness Railway’s Barrow station and dockyard in 1897.

I reckon I’ll probably end up getting into the American Civil War to be honest. Can’t deal with those hats though is the issue

Am I allowed “The Cold War” at all?

I picked ECW as it has a nice mixture of straight-up war, constitutional affairs, turncoats … just a lot to get your teeth in to.

Also some nice vocabulary – potwalloper, for example

Oh fuck yes yes yes

Travel on model trains, visit Greeks/Romans.

Sounds like Bill n Ted’s history assignment

All unappealing choices. Gone for khan cause i don’t know much about him.

I am 43 and have not already selected - am i too late?

Ghengis Khan in the streets, Greek/Roman in the sheets.

Not sure it counts as being on the streets when he spent most of his life on a horse.
