The Bootlegger and The Brewery shop are. Plenty of choice and the Brewery shop does a great pizza. The Falcon is one of our two Spoons (the older of the two). Wouldn’t recommend The Hour Glass although the picture if quite flattering…

This used to be my second local at one time when i lived in Norwich (York Tavern was slightly closer).
Is it still run by those two ancient couples? I’m guessing it probably isn’t.

Never really went to the Vaults when I lived in Shrewsbury. Had a soft spot for The Yorkshire House
Turns out just looking at pictures of pubs makes me really happy. Anyway, not actually my nearest (maybe 3rd or fourth), but is three quarters of a mile, and nicest people, atmosphere, and shows football games. BS9.
And the garden is great;
i think they both died a few years ago.
not a huge fan, but they’ve got a nice stage area.
